The structure that I would like to build will be used as a garage to house my boat as it is too long to fit in my existing garage:. The reason that I am applying for the variance is that I would like to build this structure to the property line rather than to the 15-foot set -back line. IT I were -to -set 7EFe—garage back -the recommended 15 sect, I would lose the only shade tree that I have in my backyard. I do not feel that this will pose problem for my neighborhood for the following reasons: 1)This structure will not detract aesthetically as it ,Fill ba placed in my backyard rather than on the front of my property. There is only one other backyard that adjoins my property. I have asked the neighbors whose houses will face the structure their opinions and have included a signed petition regarding same. 2)This structure will not pose a traffic hazard as it will be in line with a 61 wooden fence that has been in -glace several years. There remain 16 feet between the structure/fence and the curb, allowing visibility for motorists. I have at -tempted to make available to you as much information as possible to aid your decision. Please do not hesitate to call if you have further questions. I appreciate your consideration in this matter. I" y :pincer WW 44 "I ,_.ade P,. It would require an extremely large tree spade machine, and T am not sure if the even make a machine that large. If you were able to have the.tree moved, it would suffer great shack from the disturbance j. and would probable die. Thank You, Mack W. Davis DavisTree Experts B A M. -41 a
