Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Request for variances to the minimum side yard building setbacks from 5' to 0.42' and 3.19' FILE: 567-BA STAFF REPORT Circor Energy Products, Inc. has applied for variances to the minimum side yard building setbacks from 5' to 0.42' and 3.19'. The property is located at 4960 Washington. There are two existing buildings on the subject property. Jennifer Turner, representing the applicant, states that Circor is in the process of selling the property and the buyer is requiring the variances as a condition to closing. Ms. Turner states that the property to the west of the subject property and the subject property were once owned by the same person. The previous owner constructed the buildings and later partitioned the property. The northern building was constructed approximately 8 years ago and is 0.42' from the west property line at its narrowest point. The south building was erected over 15 years ago and is 3.19' from the east property line at its narrowest point.
