STAFF REPORT
Glenn Collier has applied for a variance to the minimum rear yard
building setback from 25' to 10.75'. The property is located at
5475 Winfree.
In 2008, Mr. Collier built an accessory building without the necessary
building permit. He recently came to the City to get an electrical
permit to provide electricity to the building. At that time, the City
became aware of the building. In order to get the necessary permits,
Mr. Collier must first get a variance to the rear yard building setback.
A 25' rear yard building setback is required because the lot has
double frontage and backs onto Espar Street.
The applicant shall have the burden of proof to demonstrate that all
three conditions necessary for approval have been met.
