This collection consists of five school newspapers; two copies
of "The Beaumont High School News", 1936; two copies of "The
Scribbler" published by Dick Dowling School, 1936, 1938; and
one copy of "The Broadcaster" published by students of David
Crockett School, 1938. The collection also contains four
unidentified photographs. The two copies of "The Beaumont High
School News" are dated January 16, 1936, and October 15, 1936,
the paper was published hi -weekly under the supervision of the
journalism class. The two copies of "The Scribbler" are dated
November 16, 1936, and February 3, 1938, the paper was published
by the students of the Dick Dowling Junior High School. The copy
of "The Broadcaster" is dated March 17, 1938, and was published
by the students of David Crockett Junior High School.
