DESCRIPTION
This collection contains information from a black women's organization founded in 1935 by a
group of black professionals from New York. The Beaumont branch was organized in 1983.
Included in this collection are several announcements, correspondence, certificates, awards,
brochures, and a magazine. Also, there is a pamphlet which gives the history of this
organization. There are several photographs of guests speakers for the various programs.
Inclusive dates are 1935 to 1993.
