This collection contains aerial photos of Jefferson
County. These photographs were made possible by the Beaumont
Chamber of Commerce Industrial Department during the inclusive
years of 1965 and 1967. The photographs show the city's canal
systems, highway and interstate transportation
interchanges, railroad mainlines, industrial complexes
and petroleum warehouses, existing tracts for future
industrial developing, and planning survey divisions; also
included are plats of the Glen H. McCarthy maps of the Stowell
and Fannett areas.
