NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Bond Facilitation Committee of the City of Beaumont,
Texas (the “Committee”) will meet to consider and act on the matters identified in this
notice. This notice is posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas
Government Code Chapter 551.
Date, hour, and place of meeting:
Date: Thursday, May 14, 2026
Time: 5:30 P.M.
Location: Lakeside Center Multi-Purpose Room
Address: 150 Magnolia Street, Beaumont, TX 77701
Subjects to be considered (agenda):
The Committee will consider organizational and administrative matters and will receive
briefings regarding the voter-approved 2025 general obligation bond program, including
program status, schedules, and next steps for infrastructure projects.
Call to order; introductions of Committee members and City staff supporting the
bond program.
Review and discussion of project timetables by ballot proposition; update on
activities since the first Committee meeting.
Briefing and discussion regarding the timetable/status of bond issuance to fund
projects.
Briefing and discussion regarding procurement status for professional services
supporting bond projects.
Discussion and possible action: adopt the Committee meeting schedule for the
remainder of 2026.
Discussion: recommended additional topics, procedures, and/or staff guidance to
support oversight of voter-approved bond funds.
Action item (discussion and possible action):
Select a Committee vice chair.
