PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
The City of Beaumont, Texas will hold the first meeting of the Bond Facilitation
Committee at City Hall. The committee, established by the Beaumont City Council,
consists of 19 citizen members appointed to oversee the $58 million in general obligation
bonds approved by voters in November 2025.
The Public Meeting will be held as follows:
Date: Tuesday, February 10, 2026
Time: 5:30 P.M.
Location: Beaumont City Hall – City Council Chambers

Agenda Topics:
The purpose of this kickoff meeting is to establish the committee’s foundational operating
procedures and provide an initial overview of the bond program's infrastructure projects.
Introductions: Meet the 19-member citizen committee and City of Beaumont staff
supporting the program.
Legal Review of Committee Rules: A presentation by the Legal department
regarding established rules for the committee to ensure all activities are conducted
in a timely, efficient, transparent, and fair manner.
Program Overview (Proposition A): A review of the $58 million infrastructure
package, project scope, schedules.
2026 Meeting Schedule: Discussion and finalization of the committee’s meeting
calendar for the remainder of the year.
Kickoff Recommendations: Additional topics or instructions recommended by City
Staff to ensure successful oversight of voter-approved funds.
