The proposed "speakeasy" is a concept designed to deliver an intimate and 1rnrnens)ms nightlife experience, inspired by the elegance ofthe 1920's. The establishment will feature high -end craft cocktails, live jazz performances, in a hidden setting. Planning staff recommends approval of the request with the following conditions: I. Construction plans must meet all requirements by Water Utilities for water and sanitary sewer services, including any requirements of the City's back -flow, pre-treatment and/or FOG program. 2. Shall enroll in the Beaumont Police Department"s Real Time Crime Center program and maintain annual subscriptions thereafter or employ security patrols during operational hours. S. The establishment and property premises shall remain in compliance with the building code, fire code, zoning code, offenses and nuisance code, health and sanitation code and all other applicable codes ofthe city.
