PUBLIC HEARING:
A Joint Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Commission and City Council of the City of Beaumont
on Monday,September 20,2021 at 3:00 p.m.in the City Council Chambers located at 801 Main Street.

happens,staff makes every attempt to contact the applicants.However,because we are not always

REQUEST:
Purpose-A request to Rezone a property from LI(Light Industrial)and GC-MD(General Commercial
—Multiple-Family Dwelling)to RS(Residential Single-Family Dwelling)District.
Location—8780 Eastex Freeway
Applicant—Charles Shajari
NOTIFICATION:
Under State Law, all property owners as the ownership appears on the last approved tax roll of real
property lying within two hundred feet(200')of the property listed under REQUEST shall be notified of
this hearing.
This will be the only public hearing held on this matter. The meeting is open to the public,and you are
