SUBJECT: Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to expand a driveway.

STAFF REPORT
Ricky Pinkston, is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness to expand the driveway at 255.5
Harrison Avenue. The expansion would make the driveway twelve (12) feet in width starting at
the property line extending to the rear of the structure, where the pavement would expand to
28' in width. The expansion would not extend in front of the main structure.
Staff recommends approval of the request with the following conditions:
l. The new pavement shall comply with Section 28.03.024(18) District area and height
regulations of the City of Beaumont Code of Ordinances by maintaining a 2' offset from
the side property line.
2. All applicable permits and inspections shall be obtained through the Building Codes
