CONSENT AGENDA
(Items placed on the Consent Agenda are considered routine in nature and are considered
noncontroversial. The Consent Agenda can be acted upon in one motion. A consensus of the Council is
required to remove any item for discussion and separate action.)
A. Approval of the May 16, 2023 City Council Meeting Minutes.
B. Approval of the purchase of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete from CDW Government
LLC of Vernon Hills, IL.
C. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to execute all documents necessary to accept
funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) in the amount
of $174,270.00 awarded to the Beaumont Public Health Department.
D. Approval of a contract for the purchase of uniforms and accessories for the Police
Department.
E. Approval of the appointment of members to the Charter Review Committee.
F. Authorize the City Manager to award a contract to AIIco, LLC, of Beaumont, for
the 23rd Street Emergency Cavity Repair Project.
G. Authorize the City Manager to award a contract to Brystar Contracting, Inc., of
Beaumont, for the Long Street Emergency Cavity Repair Project.
H. Authorize the City Manager to award a contract to Vortex Companies, of
Houston, for the Long Street Grouting Repairs Project.
I. Authorize the City Manager to award a contract to Water Company of America of
Houston, for the Review of Unbilled or Misbilled Utility Services Project.
REGULAR AGENDA
1 . Consider a request for a Specific Use Permit to allow a stone cutting and
fabrication business in the GC-MD (General Commercial-Multiple Family
Dwelling) District located at 1981 Magnolia Avenue.
2. Consider a request for a Specific Use Permit to allow a drinking place in the GC-
MD (General Commercial- Multiple Family Dwelling) District for property located at
2550 Interstate 10 East within the Town Center Shops Plaza.
3. Consider a request for a Specific Use Permit to allow a gaming site in the LI (Light
Industrial) District for property located at 5305 Gorman Road.
4. Consider a request for a Specific Use Permit to allow a medical office in the RM-
H (Residential Multiple Family-Highest Density) District for property located at
3590 Blackmon Lane #1.
5. Consider a request for a Specific Use Permit to allow a parking lot in the RM-H
(Residential Multiple Family-Highest Density) District for property located at 3
Acadiana Court.
6. Consider a request to Rezone properties from GC-MD (General Commercial-
Multiple Family Dwelling) District to RS (Residential Single-Family Dwelling)
District for a 1.207 tract of land located at 11375 Old Voth Road.
7. Consider a request for an abandonment of the alleyway in Block 10 of the Van
Wormer Addition located within the 700 Block of Archie Street.
8. Consider authorizing the Chief Magistrate the authority to dispose of
unadjudicated Class C misdemeanor cases 15 years and older pursuant
to Tex. Code Crim Proc. Art. 103.0081.
9. Consider approving the sale of City-owned property identified as PLAT K Tract 3
D Brown Addition 12' x 199', located on St. Anthony Street, Beaumont, Texas.
10.Consider authorizing the acceptance of a 100 square feet Exclusive Water Utility
Easement.
11.Consider authorizing the execution of a License to Encroach Agreement with
Margarita Batrez
