Applicant, Richard Ca,|ais1srequesting a Certificate of Appropriateness to enclose two (2)
windows to the duplex located at 3585 and 2587 Liberty Street. The windows to be enclosed
are located on the south side of the home, and are visible from the public right'of+way.The
applicant wishes to replace the six (6) by ten (10) windows with shiplap siding, The siding would
be painted to match the structure.
This home would be categorized as a Craftsman style home. Examples of this are in Field
Guide to American Houses (McAlester et al., pg. 456-458\. Multiple windows within front rooms
Planning staff recommends denial of the request.
This house is not listed in the SPARE Beaumont Survey.
