PZ2022'486 STAFF REPORT Justen Gravet� on behalf of home owner Latdce Traylor, requests to keep an attached carport on the west side of the property located at 22I5 Hazel Street. This was constructed without the benefit of an approved Certificate of Appropriateness nor building permits. The structure |s twenty (20) feet by twenty (20) feet and has been constructed with wood and architectural shingles, It extends from the west side of the home to the existing fence line. The carport is visible from the street. Staff recommends approval of the request with the following conditions: 2. The carport shall be in conformance with Section 28.03O24 District area and height regulations ofour C|t»'s Ordinances. 2. All appropriate permits must be obtained through the Building Codes department. This house is listed in the 1990 SPARE Beaumont 3urvey. SPARE states the house is typical of the middle class housing built to accommodate the rising population in Beaumont 1nthe l92[Ys. Exhibits are attached.
