STAFF REPORT
Mobil Oil proposes to construct a gas station/convenience store/car wash at the southwest
corner of Irving and Mary in the Charlton -Pollard neighborhood. In addition to the
convenience store, a City of Beaumont Police substation is to be incorporated into the
proposed development. Approximately the front half of this property is already zoned GC -
MD.
This new development is another key element in the revitalization of the Charlton -Pollard
neighborhood. It will complement the homes and the new city park that are being built
nearby.
Exhibits are attached.
