We are proposing to reconstruct the home in a similar craftsman style, complete with craftsman style columns and doors, 6 over 1 windows and paint colors from the pre -selected Historic color palette. The only major difference that the newly constructed home will have is a new composite roof vs the current clay roofing, new wooden stairs and railing versus current concrete stairs and no railing, and a new wooden ADA ramp located at the rear of the home. The house will be constructed to meet HUD requirements and Texas Government Code 2306.514. Again, we are seeking a Certificate of Appropriateness to reconstruct this storm, damaged home for Mrs. Banks. This newly reconstructed home will most definitely result in a positive impact on the homeowner's wellbeing, as well as her surrounding community.
