WHEREAS, bids were solicited for an annual contract, with the option of two (2)
renewals of one (1) year terms at the same pricing as the awarded contract, for the
purchase of Aqua Ammonia for use by the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Airgas Specialty Products, Inc., of Lawrenceville, Georgia, submitted
a bid in the unit amount shown below:

; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Airgas Specialty
Products, Inc., of Lawrenceville, Georgia, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Airgas Specialty Products, Inc., of Lawrenceville,
Georgia, for an annual contract, with the option of two (2) renewals of one (1) year terms
at the same pricing as the awarded contract, for the purchase of Aqua Ammonia in the
unit price shown above for an estimated total expenditure of $86,040.00 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Airgas Specialty Products, Inc., of Lawrenceville,
Georgia, for the purposes described herein.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
