(This item was rescheduled from the December 17, 2001 meeting.) FILE: 1596-P STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request. Earlier this year, Neff Services, Inc. was cited by the City of Beaumont Planning Division for operating a wrecker service at 3004-3006 Blanchette without a specific use permit. A towing service is permitted by right in a GC -MD District as long as no more than ten (10) vehicles are stored on the premises. The storing of more than ten (10) vehicles requires a specific use Permit. Neff Services is using the property as an office and for the storage of wrecked vehicles, personal property tow-aways and repossessed vehicles. Exhibits are attached. An auto repair facility is immediately to the cast of the subject property. To the southeast is Chuck's Wrecker Service.
