Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Request for a zone change from A-R (Agricultural -Residential) to RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District, FILE: 1537-Z STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval of the zone change request. This will allow the developer to continue on with the next section of Barrington Heights. This change is in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan, Talisman Development, Inc., Richard L. Guseman, President, wishes to rezone 10.0381 acres of land situated west of Dowlen Road and north of the proposed Delaware Street extension. This tract is the proposed Phase IV of Barrington Heights Subdivision. Phases 11 and III lie north and northwest of this property. Phase IV will provide 34 new single family lots. Lots in the A-R district are required to contain at least one acre. The preliminary plat of Barrington Heights, Phase 4, Lots 41-74, Block 3 is scheduled for Planning Commission consideration at the Regular Meeting for January 17, 2001 at 3:30 p.m, Exhibits are attached.
