(This case was postponed from May 29, 2002,) FILE: 1618-Z STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request for a zone change. Mr. Michael Garnmill, the contracted purchaser, is buying 3 acres of land between Eastex Freeway and Old Votb Road. The property sits in the 9800 block of Old Voth Road. Of the 3 acres, Mr. Garnmill wishes to rezone 1.7 acres to RS. On this 1.7 acres, he wishes to build his personal residence. On the remaining 1.3 acres that front on Eastex Freeway and are zoned GC -MD, he wants to build his office/shop.
