Location: 2325 Liberty
Applicant: Nancy Carlisle, Quality Care Sitter Service, Inc.
Mr. Richardson stated that Nancy Carlisle, owner of Quality Care Sitter Services,
wants to expand the administrative offices of the business at 2325 Liberty. Ms.

The proposal is for constructing a 17' x 34' addition to the rear of the building.
Additional parking will be provided as well.
Because this property is in the Oaks Historic District, the Historic Landmark
Commission must approve a Certificate of Appropriateness for the construction.
In addition, a variance to the rear yard setback must be approved by the Zoning
Board of Adjustment. A 25' rear setback is required. A 17' rear setback is
proposed. Ms. Carlisle has applied for both the CA and the variance.
Mr. Richardson recommended approval of the request, subject to obtaining the
necessary approvals from the Historic Landmark Commission and the Zoning Board
of Adjustment.
