LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR ORDINANCE PURPOSES
Being Lot 3, Block 4, Bel Air Addition, City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing
0.165 acres, more or less.
Planning Commission and City Council:
1, Doyle King, am constructing a house at 8150 Walker road (Lot 3, Block 4,
Bel -air Addition). My parents will reside in this home upon its completion. I have
received a building permit from the City of- Beaumont (#02-1935) for the
construction of a house and detatched garage.
My situation has recently changed and I would like to apply for a Specific Use
Permit. At this time, I would like to convert the garage into a separate living
quarters for a full-time care -giver and driver that will assist my handicapped
parents.
I feel in no way that this change in construction will impair property values within
the immediate vicinity nor impair improvements of surrounding vacant properties.
The design of the driveway has not changed and will not affect general public or
adjacent properties. There will be no odor, fumes, dust, noise, or vibrations.
Lighting will not disturb or affect other properties. After the construction phase, I
plan to landscape the property in a normal fashion.
Sincerely,
Doyle S. King
