Box 3827 Beaumont, Tx. 77704 Reference: Alley Abandonment Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church Dear Mr. Richardson, Attached is an application for the abandonment of a 20 foot wide alley in Block 3 of the North Addition between Texas and Grand Avenues and IH 10 and Catalpa Avenue. Also enclosed is a check for the application fee of $200.00 from the Church. Referring to the two exhibits attached to this application, the abandonment of the alley is very important to the Church's development of Block 3 into a parking lot. The proposed parking lot is needed to provide parking for the church's expansion of its proposed sanctuary. The existing 20 foot alley appears to not have any utilities in its right-of-way. We wish to appear before your December 16, 2002 Planning Meeting. Thank you for your assistance regarding this matter. Respectfully,,)Submitted, FITTZ IPM C.
