FILE: 642-OB STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request. Lion Construction Company is requesting the abandonment of a 20'x 300'utility casement located between Orange Street and Avenue A. This utility easement was created by the abandonment of an alley in 1947. It is the desire of the applicant to abandon this utility easement so that a Family Dollar Store can be built on a 1.05 acre tract that spans the utility easement. This abandonment was sent to all interested parties. No negative comments have been received.
