Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Request to allow a public hearing on File 1680-Z/P prior to the end of the 12 month period as per Article V, Section 8 (2) of the Planning Commission Bylaws. FILE: 1680-Z/P In July, 2003, Lenny Boone was denied a zone change to GC-MD-2 (General Commercial - Multiple Family Dwelling-2) and a specific use permit to allow an office and retail complex on Dowlen Road. Dr. Matthew Cerniglia, who is part of the limited partnership that owns the property, is requesting the opportunity to re -appear before the Planning Commission prior to the end of the 12 month waiting period as mandated by the Planning Commission Bylaws. Article V, Section 8 (2) of the Planning Commission Bylaws allows the Planning Commission to grant all exception to that rule upon written request by the applicant. On July 29, 2003, Dr. Cerniglia, submitted a letter requesting such an exception. Exhibit is attached.
