FILE: 1685-Z STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends azone change to RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District, Gary Stark, the property owner, is requesting this zone change so that he may sell this tract of land to another individual for single family development. Mr. Stark, built a business location for Allied Elevator of Beaumont on the eastern half of the property at 8745 Eastex Freeway. Someone has come to him asking to buy the western half of the property for the purpose of constructing their home. There have been a number of rezonings to RS along the east side of Old Voth Road. July 22, 2003 To: City of Beaumont Zoning Board I am respectfully requesting a zone change for this particular property in order to sell to a prospective buyer. The buyer is wanting to build is a residential house for he and his family to live in. The property is currently zoned, as RM on the Voth Road side and the Eastern part being GC close to Eastex Freeway. I would like to have all of this property zoned for residential to allow this sell to proceed and promote economical development for this area which was all wooded until I built Allied Elevator of Beaumont Office building at 8745 Eastex Freeway. I would appreciate your help in solving this problem.
