I.
The firefighter, given a selection of forcible entry tools, shall select, identify, and carry the correct tool(s) as it applies to the individual performance skills listed below. The firefighter shall simulate the correct method of opening walls. The firefighter will be required to verbalize
key points while simulating the individual performance skills.
Objective
II.
Given a selection of forcible entry tools, you shall select, identify, and safely carry the correct tool(s) as it applies to the individual performance skills listed below. You shall simulate the correct method of opening walls. You will be required to verbalize the key points while
simulating the individual steps. You will begin on my instruction to start. The skill will end
when you state to me that you have completed all of the identified steps. Do you understand
these instructions?

The firefighter will not be allowed to review the performance steps at the time of testing.

Note:
The firefighter shall accomplish the skills wearing “FULL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING FOR STRUCTURAL FIREFIGHTER” as required by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection to include helmet, gloves, coat, trousers, boots, and SCBA .
