STAFF REPORT
The applicant wants to construct a 70' tall owner identification sign for the new Cowboy
Harley store at 1150 IH-10 South,
Marlin Williford of Quality Signs in Houston has made the application for Rumble
Enterprises which is constructing the retail motorcycle sales business. The sign will be
located at the southeast comer of the 2.4 acre tract, according to information available at the
time of preparing this report. No site plan was submitted. The 5'x 15'electronic message
sender depicted on the pylon sign exhibit as submitted by the applicant is not permitted.
Specifically, signs with flashing lights or intermittent illumination "shall be prohibited...",
The Board is authorized to grant a variance if the applicant has shown that conditions A, B
and C have been met.
