Re: 1109 North Street Property
Dear Mr. Anderson:
As you know from our recent telephone conversations I have
purchased the property at 1109 North Street. My plan is
to restore, as authentically as possible, this home to the
L. Scott witllace. ,V.D. style of the turn of the century when it was built.
I feel that this will greatly enhance the appearance of
James w.Shuffreld„u.a the neighborhood. As you know, it is directly across the
1
street from the restored Holmes -Duke house which is on the
}' lackG. ,McNeill. 41.1a National Register of HistoricPlaces.
I plan to rent this property to a family or to a small
Thomas Smith. ,Vt.a business.
John r. raylor, M.D. Enclosed you will find estimates from the general
contractor for the restoration of the exterior of the
house.
JerryD. Clark, M.a
I would appreciate any consideration that the City and the
EhzaberhA. Szalay, ,u.A Landmark commission can give me in this project. I
particularly need a ten year interest -free loan.
