REQUESTED
ACTION: Request to consider an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness
to construct an addition to the rear of an existing single family
structure. The property is located at 2490 Evalon.

Staff recommends approval of this request to construct an addition to the rear of the
existing single family structure.
PROJECT' INFORMATION
The existing single family structure was built in the early 1960's and is not considered
one of historical significance.
The property owner wishes to construct a master bedroom and master bath addition
the rear of the house. The exterior of the addition will match the existing exterior.
The roofline will be an extension of the existing roofline and the entire roof will be
reshingled to match.
The entire rear of the property is currently surrounded by a wood privacy fence. The
only portion of the addition that will be seen from the street will be the eave and
roofline.
