by Vice -Chairman Jessica Foy.
The following Commissioners were present:

Staff present: Stephen Richardson, Secretary; Murray Duren, Senior Planner;
Patsy Ellis, Recording Secretary.
Also present: Councilman -at -Large Andrew Cokinos; Carolyn Howard, Beaumont
Main Street.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
Due to the lack of a quorum, approval of the minutes was postponed until the next regular
meeting.

REGULAR MEETING
1. Revolving Loan Fund - Financial Report
Stephen Richardson stated that as of 02/28/95 there is $32,669.71 in the Regular
Fund and $3,869.91 in the Oaks Revolving Fund for a total of $36,539.62
Mr. Richardson stated that Mr. L.C. Bowman of 2060 Long had not contacted him
as yet to discuss the conditions of the loan that the Commission had approved in
January. Vice -Chairman Foy asked if there was a deadline for obtaining the money.
Commissioner Pullig asked if Mr. Richardson would drive by 2060 Long to see if any
work had been done on the structi - Mr. Richardson stated that he would.
2. March and April Calendar of Evens
Commissioner Stiles reminded the CL.. , fission about Gladys City Civil War Days
on April 8th.
3. Chairman's Report
No report.
OTHER BUSINESS
a) Vice -Chairman Foy stated that she did not have a Chairman's Report but
would like to turn the meeting over to Carolyn Howard of Beaumont Main
Street. Ms. Howard stated that Main Street Noon Tunes starts on March
17th. She also said that Main Street is working on a potential housing
prospect to open a building downtown for housing with parking on the first
floor and apartments above.
h) Commissioner Pullig asked Ms. Howard to bring a map showing Main Street
boundaries and the amount of people working in downtown Beaumont. Ms.
Howard stated that Main Street had just completed a marketing package for
prospects. It is a multi -page document that shows the demographics and
lists 6,700 people working in downtown Beaumont.
c) Vice -Chairman Foy suggested that in accordance with Preservation Week,
the Beaumont Enterprise be contacted about a supplement to the newspaper
that shows some of the homes and businesses that have been rehabilitated.

d) Commissioner Embs and Stephen Richardson gave a report on the CLG
conference they attended on March loth and 11th in Austin.
