Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Request for approval of a certificate of appropriateness for the construction of a four (4) foot tall chain link fence in the front yard. FILE: CA-500 STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends denial of CA-500. Mr. and Mrs. Felipe Iglesias wish to construct a four (4) foot tall chain link fence in the front yard of a rental house located at 740 3rd St. The house was broken into and a crime was committed against a former tenant. Therefore, the applicants would like to construct a chain link fence to provide protection. Staff has explained that a four (4) foot picket or wrought iron fence would be allowed. Exhibits are attached.
