STAFF REPORT
The National Development Council applied for tax relief in February, 1999 for the Hotel
Beaumont at 625 Orleans. In March, 1999, the Historic Landmark Commission and City
Council approved the tax exemption for said property.
Ms. Sally Loveland, Director, is now requesting verification by the Historic Landmark
Commission of the work done. A tour of the building is scheduled during the Historic
Landmark Commission on November 13.
Once the verification tour is complete and the Historic Landmark Commission approves
the work done, staff will notify the Jefferson County Appraisal District.
Exhibits are attached.
