at 2554 Hazel.

The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request.
Calixto Hernandez, the applicant, is requesting a certificate of appropriateness for exterior
renovations to the residence at 2554 Hazel. Mr. Hernandez is in the process in purchasing the
home from Tracy Richardson.
Proposed renovations to the structure include removing the brick and replacing with hardi-
plank or other wood -type siding to match surrounding houses. He would also like to replace
the existing roof with a new gray asphalt shingle roof. The brick is pulling away from the
house. An addition with wood siding is at the rear of the structure. Most of the houses in the
2500 block of Hazel have wood siding.
Paint colors were discussed but no final decision was made. Mr. Hernandez was made aware
of the approved color palettes.
