Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Request for approval of a certificate of appropriateness to paint a house FILE: CA-554 NOTE: At the March 12, 2001 meeting, the Historic Landmark Commission tabled this request for further information. STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends denial of this request. The applicant painted the house at 2120 Ashley without a certificate of appropriateness. The structure is painted peach with dark green trim. The applicant stated that Development Services did not inform her that the house was in the Historic District. However, staff research shows that the applicant had received a certificate of appropriateness for roof repairs prior to painting. The house is not listed in SPARE. Exhibits are attached.
