CA- 696 STAFF REPORT The Planning Director recommends approval of the certificate of appropriateness. Karen Cowan, the applicant and property owner, is requesting a certificate of appropriateness to paint her house at 2500 Hazel. Her first choice would be Sherwin Williams "Cascade Green" with `Belvedere Cream" for the front door and "Porcelain" for the trim. Her second choice would be "Rose Tan" with "Vogue Green" for the front door and "Classic Sand" for the trim. These colors are part of Sherwin Williams 1930's Preservation Pallette. The house is currently painted white. The house is included in the 1991 Beaumont Spare survey. SPARE states that the house was built c. 1928 and is of the Colonial Revival style. Exhibits are attached.
