Metal roofs were not historically common for Ranch style homes and there are no examples of metal roofs on Ranch style homes in our reference book.. A few did appear in a search of metal roofs, but there were very few. Due to metal roofs not being historically common on Ranch style homes, the Planning staff recommends denial of this request.
