STAFF REPORT
The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request.
Mark W. Whiteley & Associates has applied for a replat of Lot 12,
Block 5, Walden Meadows, Section Two and a 0.5031 acre portion of
that certain 32.433 acre Dishman Tract into Lots 1-3, Block 6,
Walden Meadows, Section Three.
The subject property is being developed for single family dwellings and
will continue the development of the previous Walden Meadows
sections. Similar covenants and restrictions will be developed as a
continuation of the past developments.
Originally, Thoreau Street was planned to continue to the north.
Development plans and engineering design requirements no longer
support the continuing of that street. Therefore, a portion of the
street approach previously constructed is proposed to be removed and
a sanitary sewer service line is proposed to run from an existing
manhole on the southeast corner of Thoreau and Laurelwood, crossing
Laurelwood to the north and terminating at Lot 3 for service. All
other infrastructure is in place.
This item was sent to all interested parties. No negative responses
have been received.
