Faust Engineering and Surveying, Inc. has applied for
preliminary plat approval of Springwood, Section 1, a 12.4 acre,
47 lot single family residential subdivision. The property
is located on the west side of RFD Road, north of Highpoint
Addition. Springview, a minor collector street with a 60' wide
right-of-way and a 36' wide pavement, will provide access.
The Master Plan submitted with Phase One of Springwood shows
a minor collector street providing ingress/egress for all
phases of the subdivision. The proposed number of lots for
the entire subdivision will be 102. With the platting of future
phases, the City may require an additional stub-out into
adjacent property to provide another ingress/egress point.
In addition, future phases may require the dedication of
additional right-of-way for the DD#6 Ditch to the northwest
of the property.
This item was sent to all interested parties. Planning,
Engineering and Transportation placed conditions upon approval
of the plat.
