STAFF REPORT
The Planning staff recommends approval with the following condition:
1. Provide a temporary cul-de-sac at the northwest end of Alexis Street.
Faust Engineering & Surveying, Inc. has requested preliminary plat approval of
Springwood, Section 2. The project is located within the City of Beaumont at the
northwest end of Alexis Street, northwest of RFD Road. The development is an 8.76
acre, thirty-nine (39) lot, single family, residential subdivision. Both Riplee and Kayla,
residential streets, will have a 50’ right-of-way and 27’ wide pavement and Alexis, a
minor collector, will have a 60’ right-of-way and 36’ wide pavement. Utilities will be
provided by extension of City of Beaumont water and sewer.
This item was sent to all interested parties.
