Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Consider a request for an amended plat of Lots 1-3, Block 4, Virginia Addition into Lots 1A - 3A, Block 4, Virginia Addition. FILE: Amended Plat - Lots 1A - 3A, Block 4, Virginia Addition STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request for an amended plat with a variance to the lot depth requirement for Lots 1A and 2A. Mark W. Whiteley & Associates is requesting approval of an amended plat of Lots 1 - 3, Block 4, Virginia Addition. The property is located at the southwest corner of Park and Campus. A house is located on Lot 2A and two garage structures are located on Lot 3A. The original three lots are now oriented towards Campus. The amended plat will orient Lots 1A and 2A towards Campus. Lot 3A will be oriented towards Park. Lots 1A and 2A are 90' deep. They do not meet the minimum lot depth requirement of 100'. Both lots exceed the minimum lot width and area requirements. Lot 3A meets the minimum lot depth, width and area requirements. If approved as submitted, the Planning Commission will need to grant a variance to the lot depth requirement for Lots 1A and 2A.
