STAFF REPORT
The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request for an
amended plat with a variance to the lot depth requirement for Lots
1A and 2A.
Mark W. Whiteley & Associates is requesting approval of an amended
plat of Lots 1 - 3, Block 4, Virginia Addition. The property is
located at the southwest corner of Park and Campus. A house is
located on Lot 2A and two garage structures are located on Lot 3A.
The original three lots are now oriented towards Campus. The
amended plat will orient Lots 1A and 2A towards Campus. Lot 3A
will be oriented towards Park. Lots 1A and 2A are 90' deep. They
do not meet the minimum lot depth requirement of 100'. Both lots
exceed the minimum lot width and area requirements. Lot 3A meets
the minimum lot depth, width and area requirements. If approved
as submitted, the Planning Commission will need to grant a variance
to the lot depth requirement for Lots 1A and 2A.
Exhibits are attached.
