The Planning Manager recommends approval.
Gordon George, owner of Adam Shea, Ltd., has made a request for
the abandonment of a portion of Stone Oak Drive. This 0.14 acre
portion of Stone Oak borders the northern most property line of Lot
10, Stone Oak Industrial Park.
Mr. George is selling 18.17 acres of land to the west of the end of
Stone Oak Drive. The purchaser needs unencumbered access to the
property. Abandoning this 0.14 acre of right-of-way gives the
purchaser his desired access. The abandoned property will be deeded
to the purchaser. Mr. George has an agreement with IBEW Credit
Union to deed its half of the abandoned right-of-way to the
purchaser.
The purchaser of the 18.17 acres has a 13-year lease with a large
industrial construction company and will construct a 70' x 435'
office/warehouse and lay down yard for the lessee.
The temporary cul-de-sac that now exists will be replaced with a
permanent, concrete curb-and -gutter cul-de-sac.

BEGINNING at a 2-inch iron rod found at the Northwest corner of Lot 10 of said Stone
Oak Industrial Park, Section 1;
THENCE, North 89 deg. 35 min. 42 sec. East, along the North line of said Lot 10 for a
distance of 70.39 feet to a 2-inch iron rod found for corner;
THENCE, along the residue of said Stone Oak Industrial Park and a curve to the right
with a Radius of 65.00 feet, an Arc Length of 106.65 feet, a Chord Bearing of North 42

distance of 134.88 feet to a 2-inch iron rod found in the West line of said Stone Oak
Industrial Park;
THENCE, South 00 deg. 31 min. 48 sec. East, along the West line of said Stone Oak
Industrial Park for a distance of 70.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing
0.14 acres of land;
