DD#6 has applied for an abandonment of an unimproved portion of th 9 Street. The subject property is located between Corley and Roberts. DD#6 states that it has developed a plan to relieve flooding in the Corley Cartwright areas. DD#6 has acquired the property on either side of the subject tract. This area will become part of the Corley Cartwright Detention Basin. This item was sent to all interested parties. No negative responses have been received. Exhibits are attached. LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR ORDINANCE PURPOSES th Being a 60' x 162' portion of 9 Street, beginning at the northeast corner of Block 28, College Acres Extension and extending in a southerly direction a distance of 162', City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.22 acres, more or less.
