Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Consider a request for an abandonment of the west 10' of the 15' utility easement in Lot 6, Block 2, Regency Park. FILE: 700-OB STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request. Judy Hardy is requesting the abandonment of the west 10' of the 15' utility easement along the rear of her lot at 7510 Chelsea Place. Ms. Hardy states that she wishes to construct an inground swimming pool. The pool will encroach 6' into the easement. According to the survey, there is an additional encroachment by an existing carport and metal storage building. The Planning Manager suggested to Ms. Hardy that she include an additional 4' in her request to remedy those encroachments as well. This item was sent to all interested parties. No negative responses have been received. Exhibits are attached.
