Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Consider a request for an abandonment of a portion of Pennsylvania Avenue right-of-way. FILE: 683-OB STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request. The Port of Beaumont is requesting the abandonment of a sliver of right-of-way that was acquired by the City of Beaumont as part of the Pennsylvania Avenue street improvements. The Port has acquired a lot adjacent to the subject property. The abandonment of the subject property would ensure unimpeded access to the Port=s property. Exhibits are attached.
