Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Consider a request for the abandonment of a 10' x 155' general utility easement FILE: 784-OB STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval subject to the following condition: 1. The existing 6" sanitary sewer will be abandoned at the owner=s expense. Tom Rowe, representing the property owner, has applied for the abandonment of a 10' x 155' general utility easement located in Block 12 of the Jarrett Addition. Mr. Rowe states that the easement was retained for a 6" sanitary sewer line that serviced buildings that no longer exist. Future plans are to develop the whole site and this sewer line is no longer necessary. This item was sent to all interested parties. No negative comments have been received. Water Utilities states that the existing 6" sanitary sewer will be abandoned by City workers at the owner=s expense. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION Notices mailed to property owners 1 . Responses in Favor .
