The City of Beaumont Public Works Department has applied for the abandonment of a portion of Goliad Street at the intersection of Harriot. Currently, the City maintains the unused right-of-way. The City wishes to abandon this unused right-of-way and get it back on the tax rolls. This item was sent to all interested parties. No negative responses have been received. Exhibits are attached. LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR ORDINANCE PURPOSES Being a 40' x 70' portion of right-of-way of Goliad Street, beginning at the south right-of-way line of Harriot Street and being located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Goliad Street and Harriot Street and continuing in a southerly direction along the east side of the right-of-way of Goliad Street for a distance of 70', City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.06 acres, more or less.
