The Planning Manager recommends approval.
The City of Beaumont Public Works Department has applied for the
abandonment of a portion of Goliad Street at the intersection of
Harriot. Currently, the City maintains the unused right-of-way.
The City wishes to abandon this unused right-of-way and get it back
on the tax rolls.
This item was sent to all interested parties. No negative responses have
been received.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR ORDINANCE PURPOSES
Being a 40' x 70' portion of right-of-way of Goliad Street, beginning
at the south right-of-way line of Harriot Street and being located at
the southeast corner of the intersection of Goliad Street and Harriot
Street and continuing in a southerly direction along the east side of
the right-of-way of Goliad Street for a distance of 70', City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.06 acres, more or
less.
