Avenue

STAFF REPORT
The Planning Manager recommends approval subject to the following
condition:
1. The abandoned right-of-way be retained as a general utility
easement.
The City of Beaumont Public Works Department has applied for
the abandonment of a portion of Ironton Avenue. This portion
of Ironton Avenue is a remnant left over when the current Ironton
Avenue was re-aligned. Currently, the City maintains the
unused right-of-way. The City wishes to abandon this unused
right-of-way and get it back on the tax rolls.
This item was sent to all interested parties. Time Warner Cable
has strand and coax on existing power poles in the right-of-way.

Being a 0.17 acre tract of land beginning at what are the south
property lines of Plat D6, Tracts 42 and 43 out of 12, A. Williams
Survey and extending in a southerly direction to what is the
east right-of-way line of Concord Road, City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.17 acres, more or less.
