The Planning Manager recommends approval.
Benny Mendoza has applied for the abandonment of a 20' x 180'
portion of an alley in Block 69, Van Wormer Addition.
Mr. Mendoza owns the property on either side of the alley. He has
built a building and concrete slab that are used for social events. The
northwest corner of the slab extends into the alley. The Planning
Manager recommended to Mr. Mendoza that he apply for an
abandonment to correct the encroachment issue.
This item was sent to all interested parties. No negative responses
have been received.

Being a 0.096 portion of an alley located in Block 69, Van Wormer
Addition, beginning at the east right-of-way line of Orange Avenue
and extending in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 180' to
the south right-of-way line of the KCS Railroad, City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.096 acres, more or less.
