STAFF REPORT
The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request.
James B. Davis, the property owner, is requesting a zone change for
the property located at 3250 Glenwood. Mr. Davis has operated a
car repair shop at this location for six years. Prior to Mr. Davis
purchasing the property, it was used by Beaumont Vault Company as
a burial vault company.
In October, Neighborhood Services cited Mr. Davis for several junk
motor vehicle violations. At that time, the Planning Division was
notified to see if the business was a legal use. The Planning Division
found that Mr. Davis has been operating without the proper zoning
and notified him of the need to request a zone change.
Exhibits are attached.
